Innovation
Bi-Tox:
Development of long range data transfer for the Multispecies Freshwater Biomonitor (MFB) including alarm alerting and graphical presentation.
Development of a solar driven fieldstation with biomonitor and autosampler.
Cooperation with dimeto GmbH.
Innovation:
Multifunctional chairlift (MFS)
Climate change in the Alps is leading to a shortened ski season with snow uncertainty at altitudes below 2000m. Artificial snowmaking is harmful to the environment, expensive and only possible when there are sufficient freezing days. As a result, chairlifts are being dismantled. Nevertheless, there are also alternative environmentally friendly uses for chairlifts with the aim of mindful, enjoyable nature experience tourism. For this purpose, we have designed the multifunctional chairlift (MFS).
Examples of scientific research projects:
GroundCare (BMBF):
Adaptation and application of our biomonitor in groundwater (Laboratory and field).

Wastewater project (DBU):
Wastewater biomonitoring with ozonation and use of EPT-taxa in the Ruhr area (University Duisburg-Essen)
